Colleen’s Book, EERIE (YA paranormal with romance)
EERIE
by CM McCoy
Genre: YA fantasy with romance
Publisher: Simon & Schuster/Omnific
Summary
Featured in PEOPLE Mag & on INSIDE EDITION — Hailey must survive her supernatural classes, avoid the pants-stealing campus poltergeist, & live with a roommate from Hell. At Paranormal University, this much is certain: if her classes don’t kill her, the guy she falls in love with just might.
Hailey Hartley has just enrolled in the world’s premier supernatural university. It’s a school she’s never heard of, located in a town called The Middle of Nowhere, and run by a creature that’s not supposed to exist. But at least she got a scholarship…
Hailey’s dreams have always been, well…vivid. As in monsters from her nightmares follow her into her waking life vivid. When her big sister goes missing, eighteen-year-old Hailey finds only one place offers her answers–a paranormal university in Alaska. There, she studies the science of the supernatural and must learn to live with a roommate from Hell, survive her otherworldly classes, and hope the only creature who can save her from an evil monster doesn’t decide to kill her himself.

About CM McCoy. CM McCoy has one pointed ear, a 70-pound puppy from Hell, and a very active imagination. She’s well aware nobody can say or spell her real name, hence the pen name. You can call her Colleen. She’s the PR manager for Inklings Literary Agency. When she’s not chatting with her imaginary friends, she’s interviewing with PEOPLE Magazine, ABC’s 20/20, the local morning news show, or INSIDE EDITION, where she promotes writing for mental and emotional health. She also mentors pre-published authors through workshops and contests. Though she’s a retired Air Force officer with a BS in both Chemical Engineering and German, she’s far happier writing near misses and awkward kisses. Some of her off-the-wall talents include speaking in 10-codes (which she learned working with Alaska State Troopers), flying helicopters, and Irish dance. Cover of the book looks very intriguing! I’d love to dive right into it.
Thank you Caryl! <3
ummm war and peace? LOL.
10 hours is a long time. Realistically, I’d probably take along a logic puzzle book and a mystery. At the moment, I am reading Dark Assassin.
Hahahah!
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke 🙂
War and Peace or a collection just a long one like that
I’d take My Maker’s Keeper by Tiffany Current.
I would take Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. I love her books.
The book I would take would be Cinder from the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
I would hope I could take more than one book. However, if I had to pick one, it would be “The Guests on South Battery” by Karen White.
Ha! I haven’t read it before but now it cane to my mind The Nightingale
by Kristin Hannah.
For a flight that long? I could finish multiple books. Just sayin’. I read QUICKLY. I would take my new kindle with me instead.
Well, if I can’t take my Kindle with me then I guess I would have to take a book on mythological creatures so I would have a clue who I’d be going to school with.
To Kill A Mockingbird
The Shining by Stephen King
I’d take The Girl on the Train 🙂
That,s a tough one! I guess I would take Cress by Marissa Meyer because that’s what I’m up to in the Lunar Chronicles series! Thank you
If I had to choose a single book, it would be The Stand by Stephen King or I’d rather just bring my Kindle and have MANY options 😉
omg, I had nightmares for WEEKS after reading that book!
I would take my Nook Glowlight so I will have plenty of books to read 🙂
I would take The Magnus Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare.
Thanks for the chance❤❤
I would take my Kindle. I could get through a few books on my TBR in 10 hours
Why pick just one? I read so much I would just bring along my kindle.
I also would take my e-reader which is filled with tons of books yet to be read.
I would take Outlander with me .
I would take my jeans, cold weather clothes, a bunch of snack food, a toothbrush, a stack of books and my Kindle. What more would you need?? Lol.. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I love you like crazy girl!!! I can’t wait for your interview so I can hear you. 💜💜
Can I bring a book set? I would bring The Lord of Rings, hopefully that lasts 10 hours.
I would take my Kindle because I could get through a couple of books in 10 hrs (is that cheating? It’s technically only 1 book)
