I’ve been working on a workshop for authors called Sell That Book, which is basically Author Promotion 101. I’m presenting it at the Alaska Writer’s Conference at the end of the month, and I’m pretty excited about it! I’ve captured just about everything I wish I would’ve known when my book was released, including strategies, how to get reviews, how to run a giveaway on various platforms, how to write a press release, and how to make book trailers and….of course how to make graphic teasers 🙂

I’ve even got templates and how-to’s for making great swag, book campaign checklists, screen shots for maneuvering through Social Media, templates for requesting reviews, and a nifty how-to for a book signing. Every mistake I’ve made, I learned from, and incorporated results and metrics from different places I’ve advertised.

Anyhoot, I’ll post more info on this workshop soon. Right now, it’s looking like a 150+ page tutorial, broken into about 12 sections that authors can reference in any order they want or need.
